Door County GIS Data Sets

  1. 1992 Orthophotography – black & white 1 meter pixel resolution. Image formats:      TIFF format – tiled by 3 x 3 sections (1/4 Townships)
    MrSID format – tiled same as TIFF, or by Township, or entire County as one file
  2. 2002 Orthophotography (4/17/2002) – color 1-foot pixel resolution. Image formats: MrSID format – tiled by municipality
  3. Contours – 2-foot interval generated from point data collected with LIDAR technology
  4. Cultural – Recreational – includes primarily County & State parks, but also airports, churches, cemeteries, unincorporated communities, and government buildings.
  5. Digital Terrain Model – elevation point data collected with LIDAR technology in 2002. Data was received in bare earth ground coordinates and reflective surface points.
  6. Door County Geography – Shoreland, inland Lakes, Bays, and Islands.
  7. Management Districts – Municipalities, Ward Districts, County Supervisoy Districts, Aldermanic Districts, and School Districts.
  8. Roads – State Highways, County Highways, Town Roads/Streets, Emergency Responding Groups.
  9. Soils – Soil Survey by Municipality, entire County, or by key attribute field by County.
  10. Streams – All water features inventoried from 1994 BaseMap project, Navigable streams, Named streams only, or DNR streams by watershed.
  11. Tax Parcels – Unique Tax Parcel ownership by Municipality or entire County and PLSS framework. Also available in AutoCAD drawing files format by PLSS Section Tiles.
  12. USGS topo-graphic images, Digital Raster Graphics (DRGs), tiled by quarter-quads in TIFF format.
  13. Watershed Geology – Sub-watersheds and feature classifications by watershed.
  14. Zoning – Door County Zoning for entire County or by Municipality.
